Goran Pavletić is an art photographer and a graduate film and television director. He has directed several documentaries and won many international recognitions and awards. He expresses his artistic photographic work through street photography, and the exhibition Blue Streets / Melancholic Spaces is his first solo exhibition.
With a series of black and white photographs, Pavletić shows the space of city streets and squares. The motives are minimalist and they open space for individual interpretations. This is also confirmed by the event that took place at the Cultural Information Centre of Zagreb, where the exhibition was opened in February this year. Namely, a lady visitor of the exhibition was so much personally touched by one of Pavletić’s photographs that she – stole it.
