The exhibition The Hartera Paper Mill without paper was set up on the jubilee 200th anniversary of Adamić’s idea of producing paper from domestic linen in the domestic field. The exhibition and catalog follow how the factory lived for two hundred years and how it adapted to all social and political changes in Rijeka during the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition is dedicated to less represented topics – workers, technologies, and products, which are historically no less important than those of management. The exhibition is a kind of homage to the factory that is part of the economic progress of the city and because of which today’s Rijeka is exactly as it is.
