As part of the nominations for the European Museum of the Year Award, the City Museum of Rijeka prepared a promotional video presenting itself to the European public. It lasts three minutes, which is more or less what is expected from such work, according to the propositions. The video was published on the Forum’s website. Let us recall – the City Museum of Rijeka entered the round of nominees for this attractive European award after Beat Hächler, director of the Swiss Alpine Museum from Bern and a member of the Award jury, got acquainted with Museum’s work in a personal tour last July. Which of the museum institutions of the continent will claim the flattering title will be known at the Annual Conference of the European Museum Forum. It will take place from May 3rd to May 6th this year in Barcelona. The City Museum of Rijeka is invited to make a short presentation there as well, after which all eyes and ears will be focused on the announcement of the jury.
